For all those currently on the BOE and all those looking to join it, have you ever really stopped to think about what the purpose is of the BOE and what responsibilities are entailed by joining it? The boe is not a tax board, though it may generate the greatest portion of our taxes. The purpose, let me remind you folks is actually to educate the children residing in lakewood, nj. Really, I know most of you have never even thought of it. That is why we as a town elected power hungry and evil conniving idiots from the LAC. Everyone knows that absolute power corrupts absolutely but for some, like zlatkin and seitler even a whiff is enough. How can a person be cold, cruel and heartless enough to tell a mother with a mentally retarded child, who has been denied placement in the appropriate programs due to a supposed lack of funds, "why should the taxpayer pay to educate your kid just because they are retarded?" !!! Is someone who can make such a statement worthy of being involved in any public office!? Certainly not. Throw the bums from the LAC out!
Its the responsibility of the boe to educate every child, every single child.
They must cut waste and fraud, nepotism and favortism, but the boe members of the lac have demonstrated that they don't care about childrens blood or education. They promised to get rid of michael inzelbuch, because they blamed him for all the problematic issues, not only didn't they get rid of him, they were on the cheder dinner committee to honor him. The question begs to be asked, is this pay to play or what? Zlatkin, seitler and shmuckler, go back to your shtick at "debt free on my own" and stay out of sight. We have communally suffered enough from you!

Deadline Passes To Enter Run For BOE Seat – Several More Enter Race [Featured Story]

THE RACE IS ON: [UPDATED] Moments ago, 4:00 p.m., the deadline past for candidates to enter the ballot for this year’s Board of Education elections. As first reported Motzei Shabbos, Bill Hobday announced his run for one of the three available seats. Also entered this year’s race, is Shuey Schmuckler, Baruch Mandel, Lawrence Avrin, Baruch Blaustien, Yisroel Friedman, Zecharia Greenspan, Larry Loigman, Yisrael Rosenthal and Tracey Tift.
Incumbent Abe Ostreicher is also running.
Last year, Chesky Seitler, Carl Fink, Isaac Zlatkin and Ada Ganzalez were won the elections by a landslide vote. Carl Fink came in with the most votes at 4,540.
This year’s elections will take place on April 27. TLS

The current members of the BOE associated with the LAC have demonstrated their complete lack of regard for all students, both public and private. nobody associated with them or endorsed by them should be supported. the childrens blood is on their hands.
