Deadline Passes To Enter Run For BOE Seat – Several More Enter Race [Featured Story]
THE RACE IS ON: [UPDATED] Moments ago, 4:00 p.m., the deadline past for candidates to enter the ballot for this year’s Board of Education elections. As first reported Motzei Shabbos, Bill Hobday announced his run for one of the three available seats. Also entered this year’s race, is Shuey Schmuckler, Baruch Mandel, Lawrence Avrin, Baruch Blaustien, Yisroel Friedman, Zecharia Greenspan, Larry Loigman, Yisrael Rosenthal and Tracey Tift.Incumbent Abe Ostreicher is also running.
Last year, Chesky Seitler, Carl Fink, Isaac Zlatkin and Ada Ganzalez were won the elections by a landslide vote. Carl Fink came in with the most votes at 4,540.
This year’s elections will take place on April 27. TLS
The current members of the BOE associated with the LAC have demonstrated their complete lack of regard for all students, both public and private. nobody associated with them or endorsed by them should be supported. the childrens blood is on their hands.
